Derek Markie is the East Midlands regional partner
The Faith to Engage in East Midlands serves as a platform for bringing key players together in the churches, the local authorities and the voluntary sector to look at issues affecting the communities and ways to resolve them. It also aims to provide opportunities to network with each other and to share good practice and experience with one another.
Due to the changes in the regions, especially the loss of regional agencies, Derek has set the task of developing the sub-regional interface with LAs (Local Authorities), LSPs (Local Strategic Partnerships) and other relevant organisations.
