Focus: The faith basis of voluntary sector welfare providers in London
The London regional partner planned to carry out a major survey in a selected group of ten London boroughs. The main aim is to identify what proportion of welfare-focused voluntary projects are faith based.
Wandsworth was chosen as a pilot borough and after receiving over 50% response the survey is being currently evaluated. Carrying out the survey this size is costly and time consuming and the regional partner is looking into how to use her findings effectively and whether to carry out the survey in other boroughs.
