Focus: Rural issues
The regional partner in this region has a wide partnership working and has used that as a platform to look on two important rural initiatives. The first is on food sustainability and the second is encouraging creative leadership in rural churches.
The capacity building events were held based on these issues. In addition, an 18-month programme is now finalised and its aim is to see more enterprising, pioneering and resourceful engagement in rural communities by providing this leadership programme to the leaders in rural churches.
